Sodium hyaluronate is the stable and orally absorbable form of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid has an important role in many physiological functions: cell protection and lubrication, structural integrity of tissues, cell and molecule transport, cell mitigation, cell function and differentiation, fluid retention and regulation.

HA 150 is a liquid supplement rich in hyaluronic acid, so it is a 4 in 1 solution for joint, ligament, gastric and capillary health:

• Joint health: hyaluronic acid is an important component of the intercellular matrix. In joints it is found the synovial fluid. Synovial fluid carries supplies to the articular cartilage, functions as lubricant (smoother passage of one bone over another) and absorbs shock from high impact work.
  The role of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid is to increase its viscoelastic properties (thickness). Because it has been shown to maintain cells in the joint, hyaluronic acid is often used during times of particular joint stress like race day or strenuous exercise.
  Its high content of hyaluronic acid makes HA 150 the ideal supplement for:

• Capillary health: hyaluronan (HA) is a ubiquitous glycosaminoglycan of the extracellular matrix. It is present in the endothelial glycocalyx of vessel cells. The endothelial glycocalyx regulates blood vessel permeability and homeostasis. HA plays a central role in numerous functions of the endothelial surface layer, protecting the endothelial cells, regulating the barrier permeability, and ensuring mechanosensing, which is essential to nitric oxide production and flow-induced vasodilation. 
  Horses under strenuous exercise conditions have much higher blood pressure (slightly less than tenfold that of a horse at rest). There is strong evidence that the extremely high pressures in the pulmonary circulation during exercise result in mechanical failure of the tiny blood vessels, the capillaries, resulting in hemorrhage into the alveoli (air-containing spaces where gas is exchanged with the blood).

Use Mode :

HA 150 is individually packaged in aluminum pouches with a nitrogen barrier against oxygen for single use, ensuring they are preserved for extended periods, with the last pouch being as effective as the first. It is perfect for oral administration during or after meals. It is recommended to administer 1 pouch per day. Feeding examples should only be used as a guideline. Horses should be fed according to their weight, body condition, and the intensity of the work they perform. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
